This week’s nod goes to my favourite end to end Dylan record. Blood on the Tracks is said to be his break up record. Heart break, transmuted into art.
i went through a huge Dylan phase in my twenties. Bought nearly all of his records and poured over his lyrics. If you can grab a lyric sheet and follow along to this one, prepare to be transported. So beautiful.
Shout out to all the Balinese people currently facing land reclaims and small business closure near where this video was shot in Uluwatu. My heart goes out to the people of that land and my friends feeling the impact of western settlements, greed and the loss of green lands.
It was a pleasure making art in this space with so many incredible dancers and creatives. Bali is such a beautiful place. She will need to go through a cleansing but she will reclaim herself and continue to stand as the greatest healing centre on earth.
